Established in 1994, Soundstation is a spacious digital facility based in Horbury, Wakefield, West Yorkshire and is approx. 5 minutes from the M1/M62 motorways.There is ample parking and ground level access into the studio. We cater mainly for live bands/musicians and offer large playing areas with visual contact throughout. The studio draws bands,labels and producers from as far afield as London, Newcastle, Manchester and Hull, as well as from Leeds/Wakefield and surrounding areas recording many different genres . We record first demos, right up to to full album productions ready for commercial release. Labels we've worked for include SONY S2, ROUGH TRADE, PLANIT-X , BOMBEDOUT, ANGEL AIR, CARGO, LIVEWIRE, THE JUNK LABEL, SHUT EYE,
X FIST, CASKET/COPRO, BOSS TUNAGE, SILVERTOP, CRACKLE. We also love working with the many self release bands and artists as well as the Myspace generation of bands. We work to the highest standards using a combination of both traditional hardware and cutting edge software technology and because we don't have an expensive city centre location we can offer some of the best rates in the area for a professional facility, combined with a friendly and relaxed working environment.

Rosies album 'Moving On' was completed with vocal recording, mixing and mastering carried out at Soundstation, after some great production work by Joss Clapp & Rosie.' Moving on' was picked as album of the month by both MOJO and UNCUT magazines......
TYGERS OF PAN TANG -
Both of their latest releases, the 'Back and Beyond' EP and album,' Animal Instinct' were tracked here at Soundstation and mixed by Ben Mathews of Thunder.....
